We are two fellows from the Toon, Newcastle Upon-Tyne. We make Funky-Geordie-Hip-Hop-Rock and then play it at a considerably loud volume and in your face in a metaphoric and physical sense.
Jackie P plays and records all the musical instruments, mixes and all the technical and somewhat arbitrary shenanigans, while Geordio raps words that mostly rhyme and sings. Sort of.
Who are
Geordio?
We have been gigging since August 2025 when we made our debut on Wednesday the 21st at The Little Buildings on Stepney Bank on the outskirts of Newcastle supporting Akkat Attak, Perfect Chicken and the local legends, O.P.E.N.
We started creating music together at the end of 2023 in Jackie’s boudoir at his old house in Chopwell before relocating in close proximity to the river Tyne and constructing a proper home studio at the end of 2025.
Since then the musical concerts have come in thick and fast and we are going from strength to strength with an album due for release in September/October 2026 after two musical concerts at Lindisfarne Festival, with the second featuring an actual rock band. Please, kindly contact us if you want us to play at your musical concert!
